Plyometrics are a really good form of exercise with great significance to skiing.
Plyometrics are designed to produce fast, powerful strength and increase the speed and force of muscular contractions ideal for executing fast, smooth, powerful turns.
The type of plyometric training shown here involves jumping over objects, in this case SAQ hurdles and an agility ladder but you can be creative and use ski poles and boots... whatever you have to hand really!
Time on the ground should be kept to a minimum with the most explosive power used to spring up at a maximum.
