I have a variety of running exercise in my training programme.

There are long cardiovascular sessions of 90 to 120 minutes, medium cardiovascular sessions of 40 minutes, hill interval sprints and track running.

I often use Box Hill in Surrey because it is nice and steep! I set out cones at various stages up the hill sprinting up to each and walking back and repeating until I get to the top; like shuttle runs.
